Butterball Lunch Meat

I don’t know if anybody else has tried the Butterball turkey lunch meat. The cover sounds like it would be really high in points because it says deep fried turkey breast. However, the lunch meat is only 1 point per serving which is 7 slices. I was extremely surprised and delighted to find this out. It comes in a resealable plastic container. The following is directly from the package.

Butterball Deep Fried Turkey Breast

Extra Thin Sliced
Nutrition Facts
Serving Size 7 slices
Servings per container about 4
Calories 60

It tastes extremely good and you can’t go wrong with 1 point for all that lunch meat.

If you like pasta, I found the Ragu has a Light Ragu Pasta Sauce in the Pasta isle of some stores. It has No Sugar Added to the Tomato and Basil flavor.

Serving: 1/2 cup, calories 50, Fat 1 and Fiber 3. so points are 0. I enjoyed it with low fat meatballs I found at HEB.

I found these ate Wal-Mart. Two salmon steaks per package for $2.83. They are delicious and only 3pts each. I tried the Lemon Butter and the plain grilled. Served with brown rice and steamed veggies for a 6pt meal.

Michelina’s Lean Gourmet

Michelina’s Lean Gourmet – I found these wonderful things at Wal-Mart. They have a big selection and the points are on the front of the package. There are quite a few that have only 2 or 3 points. The best part is they are cheap! Some are only $.98! The best one I have tried so far is the Greek Bowl. It is really good. I will try to remember and bring some of the empty packages to the next meeting.
